Suzanne Miles - CLC Manager
I have a challenging and enjoyable role managing and developing
Ealing City Learning Centre on behalf of Ealing Excellence in Cities Partnership.
I am responsible for ensuring that the centre contributes to raising standards
and expectations through the development and dissemination of leading edge ICT
based teaching and learning solutions. During the past 20 years I have taught
in a number of Ealing schools and I am a skilled practitioner in several curriculum
areas including English language and literature, business studies, PSHE and
ICT.

Alim Shaikh Assistant Manager
My role involves contributing to the strategic development
of Ealing City Learning Centre. It also entails devising and developing an innovative
curriculum for the CLC audience through the development of curriculum projects,
partnership working with the centre's broad community of users and an INSET
programme for teachers. I have responsibility for managing the technical aspects
of the centre and supporting the wide-ranging community of users in meeting
their technical and pedagogical needs.

Oleg Smirnov Network Manager
I am responsible for managing the CLC network and also for
supporting schools in ICT delivery on an on demand' basis. I am an Instructor
for the CISCO CCNA networking academy training course which we deliver to both
adults and children. My role can be very varied in that it is also important
to maintain my skills in a number of CLC specialisms, e.g. digital video, video-conferencing
and web based technologies.

Andrew Watts ICT Resources Technician
I started working at the CLC in May 2003 as part of a work
placement scheme and then progressed to the role of ICT Resources Technician
providing 1st line support to all Centre users. A key part of my job involves
the preparation and monitoring of all equipment and assisting staff with routine
tasks. I also support students in the classroom and adults in training courses.

Diane Bowler Associate Staff Member
Having recently been trained in the Cisco Certified Network
Associate course, I am responsible for the delivery of the CCNA course to students
at Key Stage 4 and adults during evening classes. I am also involved in the
development and delivery of courses to students in partnership schools and other
CLC users.

Toby Newton Associate Staff Member
As an associate member of staff, I deliver and facilitate
sessions in media theory and practice to a wide range of the CLC's users. In
addition to my work at the CLC I am Head of Media at Acton High School and a
Senior examiner with AQA.
