RE meets ICT

Ealing CLC worked with a commercial education games provider, Caspian Learning and Ealing SACRE, in a consultative capacity, to produce an innovative 3d games-based education resource. This resource is freely downloadable as are the set of 3 unit plans which demonstrate how the game can be incorporated into lesson planning. We hope you will find the resource useful; all of the evidence and research we undertook before embarking upon the creation of the game indicated that there was a lack of motivational ICT resources for RE. Our aim therefore was to support teachers and assist in making the study of RE exciting with an innovative games based application based on the 5 key religions studied in the curriculum.
