Diversity in Languages

A recent presentation delivered by Alim Shaikh of Ealing City Learning Centre at a Community Languages Event hosted by ALL - the Association of Language Learning on Saturday 2nd October 2004.

The event was designed to reflect the changing national and regional scenario in respect of Community languages, the growing significance of ICT in their teaching and the initiatives specific to the long overdue promotion of these languages. The event also highlighted the steps being undertaken by the Black Country Pathfinder and Association for Language Learning to raise the profile of the teaching and learning of Community Languages.

This download will be of particular interest to those interested in encouraging development of FL within the school curriculum and those who are committed to equality for minority ethnic pupils and communities.
